The Thousand Islands Regency administration continues to improve monitoring of compliance with health protocols and PPKM Mikro rules in order to prevent Covid-19. Not only during the day, it is also conducted until night and early morning.

At least two people were netted by the Thousand Islands Satpol PP personnel during the mask operation held in Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district, on Friday (6/25).

"We control them for not wearing masks. They are subject to social work sanctions by sweeping the streets as a deterrent effect," Thousand Islands Satpol PP Head, Rahmat Lubis.

At the location, personnel were also urging locals not to gather or hang out, especially at night.

"We want people to obey the rules. Let's wear your mask, wash your hands with a running water, maintain physical distancing, stay at home and avoid the crowd," he asserted.
